Pre-recorded mixed media themed classes that include a hype video, personal journaling, a positive body affirmation scan, a custom meditation and a drawing activity. All of this will help retrain your brain to be your best self!


Things you will need: 

  • Journal (if you don't have one at home or a piece of paper will do.)
  • Ink Pen or Pencil (if you don't have one at home)
  • Chalk Marker
  • Mirror (if you don't have one at home)
  • Paper towel, cloth and water 

*If you use the chalk pen brand provided here, you will only need water and a paper towel or cloth to wipe off your mirror.

MIND HYPE is a unique experience where pop culture meets neuroscience. It’s a full-sensory mixed-media journey created by doctors, musicians, artists, and wellness experts. It blends science, art, mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, and music to energize your mind and body. Using neuroplasticity techniques, you’ll strengthen your focus, confidence, and emotional balance. These practices activate your brain’s “inner pharmacy,” reducing stress and improving memory. Every time you return to a class, you’re literally reshaping your brain and helping your body thrive. It may feel like magic, but it’s science — and you truly have the power to create new neural pathways.

  • Body Scan and Meditation led by Dana Strang - Yogi and Masters degree in the Science of Exercise Physiology. She has coached and mentored people looking for overall wellness solutions including top professional athletes.
  • Hype Video voice and co-produced by ZEALE. ZEALE is a rapper, musician, and actor and has been the opening act on tour with the bands Imagine Dragons and AWOLNATION. He is also one half of the hip-hop duo Blackillac.

Neuroplasticity Definition

Neuroplasticity is a big word that means your brain can change and grow! Every time you learn, think, or try something new, your brain makes new pathways—kind of like building roads to help you manage new challenges and become stronger.
Repetition physically changes the brain by strengthening neural pathways through a process known as neuroplasticity. This occurs because "neurons that fire together, wire together," which is a principle of Hebbian learning. As repetition continues, it creates stronger, more efficient connections, which is why it is crucial for skill acquisition and muscle memory

A landmark study conducted by researchers at Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital found that participating in an eight-week mindfulness meditation program resulted in measurable changes in brain regions associated with memory, sense of self, empathy, and stress. (MRI) scans revealed increases in gray matter density in the hippocampus, which is crucial for learning and memory, and in structures associated with self-awareness and compassion.
